I am a 3D Modeller and Environment Design Artist working predominantly with Sketchup Pro and Unreal Engine 4/5.
I was the project co-lead for Stage 9, a virtual recreation of the USS Enterprise-D from Star Trek The Next Generation created in Unreal Engine 4.
Whilst it was available, Stage 9 accrued just under 1 million direct downloads over several releases.
My primary involvement with this project involved directing a team of developers and artists over the course of 2 years. Additionally I involved myself heavily in 3d Modelling, Interior Level Design and UE Blueprint Programming/Scripting in order to recreate areas of the starship seen on the show with interactivity, as well as designing and realising never-before-seen parts of the Starship based on the original concept designs.
Stage 9 was available on PC, Mac, Linux as a desktop experience and on PC as a Virtual Reality experience. A mobile port of the project was also available for the Android platform.
I am currently the project co-lead for The Orville Interactive Fan Experience, available for free on Steam with very positive reviews.
This project, much as with Stage 9 is an interactive recreation of the hero starship for an existing IP, in this case - The Orville.
Now in the 3rd-year since the initial release, we've released 16 public updates to the project.
I have been responsible for directing the team of artists and developers during the lifetime of this project and have involved myself heavily with the 3d modelling, level design and blueprint programming aspects of the project.
For both projects, I've been centrally involved in helping form publicity material in the form of video trailers, dev blogs and showreel pieces created using Sequencer in Unreal Engine.
